The European Political and Governance Studies Department actively encourages its Academic Assistants to advance their research and contribute to the broader field of EU studies.
During the 2024/2025 academic year, several Academic Assistants and Department Professors presented their work at major conferences, including:
The 19th Biennial Conference of the European Union Studies Association (EUSA)
The 9th European Union in International Affairs (EUIA) Conference
In addition, the Department maintains a strong relationship with the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA). In the same academic year, Academic Assistants contributed to two editions of TEPSA’s European Council Experts’ Debrief.
Beyond this, the faculty and staff of the Department of European Political and Governance Studies conduct high-level research individually and through sponsored programmes.
