On 8 September 2026, at the College of Europe in Natolin we officially began the Academic Year 2026-2027, welcoming the newly arrived students of the Johannes Gutenberg Promotion. This year marks a significant new chapter for the College of Europe in Natolin as we launched the new study track in European Security and Strategy.

The programme featured with a welcome address by Vice-Rector Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA, who greeted the new cohort marking the start of their academic journey at the College of Europe and introduced them to members of the Natolin staff.

Dear Students,

This places upon you an opportunity: to engage fully, to contribute generously to this community, to take seriously both the privilege and the responsibility of your presence here. We stand ready to support you. Our faculty are here to guide you. Our institution exists in service of your intellectual and personal development. But the essential work is yours. We trust you will undertake it with the seriousness and dedication it demands. This is your year and the start of a great adventure.

- Vice-Rector Ewa Ośniecka-Tamecka
