Simulation Game on EU Accession Negotiations

What a team of negotiators we had on campus last week!

After successfully simulating the negotiations for EU accession of Albania, and closing the Chapter 27, our students had the chance to meet their real-life counterparts!

We had the pleasure of hosting a panel with Andre Rizzo, Head of European Integration, Political, Press and Information Section at the EU Delegation to Albania, Silvana Rusi, CoE Natolin alumna and advisor to State Minister and Deputy Chief Negotiator, Klaudja Koci, Programme Manager at PPNEA, and Geri Emiri, investigative journalist at Amfora.al.

The panel discussion moderated by Prof. Gentian Elezi, bringing together real experts and our student “negotiators” to reflect on the process and outcomes of the Albania’s negotiations with the European Union, was the highlight of the day at Europe House.

Our visiting professor, Costanza Hermanin closed the event with warm congratulations to the students and our colleagues who made this Simulation Game on our Tirana campus happen.

A big thank you to our guest speakers for sharing their expertise with our Victoria Amelina Promotion. We’re proud of our students for how much they negotiated, debated, learned, and grew through this experience.
