Rector Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA Awarded Bene Merito Honorary Distinction by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Mr Radosław SIKORSKI

We are proud to share that on 6 May 2026, Rector Ewa OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA  has been awarded the Bene Merito honorary distinction by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, Mr Radosław SIKORSKI.

This prestigious decoration by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs recognizes individuals whose activities have made an outstanding contribution to strengthening Poland’s position internationally and promoting cooperation between nations.

The distinction is a tribute to Rector Ośniecka-Tamecka’s long-standing commitment to strengthening the Polish voice within the European Union, academic excellence, and the development of European integration.

In previous years, Rector OŚNIECKA-TAMECKA was awarded also the French Légion d’honneur (2006), the Belgian Ordre de la Couronne (2013) and Ordre de Léopold (2016).
