Statement by the College of Europe
During the protests in Tirana on the evening of 14 October, the College of Europe’s Representation Office in the city centre was damaged by fire. The office was empty at the time, and no one was hurt...
In today’s competitive environment, public and private institutions expect graduates to arrive equipped with practical skills from day one. Our trainings bring together experienced practitioners and expert trainers to help you develop the skills essential to your future career and beyond.
The Capacity Building Trainings Programme spans a range of skills and sectors. The 17 workshops in our 2026–27 programme are organised around four key areas:
1. Communication and advocacy: developing skills in effective communication, public speaking and speechwriting, while learning how to counter misinformation.
2. Diplomacy: exploring the practice and inner workings of diplomacy, including protocol, religious diplomacy and other essential skills.
3. European project management: understanding how European institutions operate and how projects are funded, developed, implemented and evaluated.
4. Conflict resolution: developing the skills and tools needed to navigate differences, negotiate effectively, lead responsibly, address conflict and promote peacemaking.
