Natolin Migration and Human Rights Nest Seminar "Debunking Myths about Migration" with Dr Patrycja SASNAL

From 19:30 till 21:00
Winter Garden

The Migration and Human Rights Nest at the College of Europe in Natolin organized its first seminar, titled Debunking Myths about Migration, featuring Dr Patrycja SASNAL, mentor of the Migration and Human Rights Nest.

The event offered students an opportunity to explore the Nest's programme in greater depth, discover upcoming activities, and learn how to become more actively involved.

The Migration and Human Rights Nest provides a forum for students to discuss the phenomenon of migration from a human rights perspective. This approach includes a thorough analysis of the European Union and its Member States' legal obligations toward both migrants and EU citizens, recognizing the multifaceted nature of migration and its impact on various demographics. Key topics include climate-induced migration, an exploration of the legal frameworks established for global migration governance, and the roles of international organizations in protecting the rights of migrants and refugees.
