2026 TANCoEN Programme on EU Accession Negotiations Opens in Chisinau

On 1 October 2026, in Chisinau, the 2026 edition of the Training on Accession Negotiations at the College of Europe in Natolin project (TANCoEN) was opened in the presence of the Rector of the State University of Moldova, Ms Otilia DANDARA, Mr Mihai MOGILDEA, Deputy Director of the Institute for European Policies and Reform (IPRE) in Chisinau, Ms Daniela VIDAICU, Executive Director of Soros Foundation Moldova and Mr Ghenadie MARIAN, Director of the Bureau for European Integration, Government of the Republic of Moldova. 

The current, already fourth iteration of TANCoEN, is intended for Moldovan journalists reporting on European integration and academic teachers of European studies.

Mr Marek TABOR, College of Europe in Natolin, in his opening remarks, underlined the responsibility of media professionals and academia for delivering credible, objective and comprehensive information about the accession negotiations and preparations for membership in the EU, thus building an informed and sustainable support among citizens of Moldova for accession.
