This programme provides participants with essential tools to understand the core components of EU energy policy and the governance frameworks used to address both internal and external challenges across multiple sectors.
In the context of the Clean Industrial Deal, the course explores the EU's efforts to ensure competitiveness while safeguarding a robust industrial base. The implementation of the Fit for 55 package, the Electricity Market Design reform, and the setting of the 2040 decarbonisation target will be examined, with particular focus on the implications for key sectors, including mobility, industry, electrification, hydrogen, and grids.
