Au second semestre, les étudiants choisissent quatre cours à option parmi ceux listés ci-dessous. Ces cours explorent des thèmes importants liés aux domaines fondamentaux de l'action extérieure de l'UE, ainsi que des compétences diplomatiques pertinentes. Afin de couvrir un large éventail de questions relatives à l'action extérieure de l'UE, tout en permettant une certaine spécialisation, les étudiants choisissent leurs quatre cours parmi au moins trois thématiques différentes.
