College of Europe Alumni Association Elects its President and New Board Members

The College of Europe warmly congratulates Dr Teona LAVRELASHVILI (Giovanni FALCONE and PAOLO Borsellino Promotion 2014/2015) on her re-election as President of the College of Europe Alumni Association for a second mandate, following the Association’s General Assembly held on 25 June 2026.

During the General Assembly, alumni from across the College’s global community came together to reflect on the Association’s achievements over the past year and to discuss the priorities that will guide its work in the years ahead. Alongside the re-election of Dr Lavrelashvili, members elected Gabriel PAPEIANS (Eliane VOGEL-POLSKY Promotion 2021/2022) and Ovidiu-Ioan RAȚIU (Simone VEIL Promotion 2017-2018) to the Board of the Alumni Association. 

We extend our sincere congratulations to the President and the newly elected Board members and wish them every success in the mandate ahead. We also thank all the candidates who put themselves forward and the alumni who participated in the General Assembly.

The Alumni Association plays an essential role in maintaining and strengthening the bonds between the College and its global alumni community. Through conferences, receptions, regional and thematic groups, mentoring initiatives, workshops, career activities and informal gatherings, the Association creates opportunities for our alumni to reconnect, exchange expertise and remain actively involved in the life of the College.

Based in Brussels and supported by alumni who volunteer their time and experience, the Association also works closely with the College on initiatives designed to support graduates at different stages of their careers and to keep the Esprit du Collège alive across generations and borders.

The College of Europe greatly values its close and longstanding relationship with the Alumni Association. We look forward to further strengthening this cooperation during the new mandate and to continuing our joint efforts in support of an active, connected and engaged alumni community worldwide.
