The fifth Bruges European Business Conference took place on  Wednesday 27 March 2014  at the College of Europe in Bruges. The forthcoming elections to the European Parliament and the entry into office of the new Commission necessitated a fresh debate on how to reverse Europe’s current downturn, raise the prosperity of the European Union and equip it with the right policy instruments for the challenges ahead.
