Marco Giuli has been a Research Fellow at the Madariaga - College of Europe Foundation since October 2008, and is responsible for research and overall management for the Empowering Europe and Challenging Citizens programmes. His research interests include EU economic policy and governance, capital markets, welfare policies and labour markets, and energy markets. He holds a Master degree in the Economics of European Integration from the University of Bologna and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Relations from the University of Rome (Sapienza). Prior to joining the Foundation, he worked as a trainee for the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade in Moscow and as a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels.
