The Centre for Health, Ethics and Society (CHES), created in 2003 with the support of Johnson & Johnson, is the key health programme of the Madariaga European Foundation. It aims to improve European integration through dialogue and debate on healthcare, ethical and societal issues. Activities consist of facilitating discussion and dialogue, bringing together representatives of the EU institutions, academic, advocacy, corporate, government, medical and scientific organisations in order to influence the public policy arena.
