The aim of the SELMA project was to promote the enforcement of the Rule of Law in Macedonia by providing a tailor-made training on relevant EU issues to the judiciary and the legal departments of public administration in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. The SELMA project was initiated in March 2003, thanks to the support of our sponsor GTZ in Macedonia. Several training sessions (two-days intensive training seminar) focusing on the key concepts of the EU legal order and the legal obligations arising for the Stabilisation and Association Agrrement were organised in Skopje, each time targeting a group of maximum 25 participants.
