This Citizen's Controversy explored whether a European common issuance of sovereign debt is the right way to cope with some of the challenges that have emerged in the wake of the global financial crisis, notably the size of the international role of the euro, the widening of the eurozone bond yields spreads, and the fragmentation of the rescue policies.
